Mark Greenaway

Mark Greenaway, founder of MGB Services. After working as a qualified Mechanical Service/Maintenance and Air-Conditioning Engineer for 10 years Mark decided to branch out and create his own company in 2010.

Mark has always focused on building client relationships and can be called directly at any time to discuss client requirements. In this respect, MGB Services is able to offer a bespoke and personal service to all their clients.
Mark believes that irrespective of the location, size or contract value of the site, his team are committed to delivering an excellent level of service. This is evidenced through testimonials, referrals, client feedback surveys, meetings with clients, results of internal and external audits and our continued business growth.

The business turnover has increased rapidly over the past 5 year with an increase of over 200%. Resulting in company expansion.

Mark has a busy family life with three young girls keeping him on his toes. He is married to Claire, The Business Development Manager. His other love in life is his passion for football.

Claire Greenaway

Claire founded the company with her husband Mark in 2010. With over 12 years’ experience in Business and Organisational Development through Glasgow City Councils’ Service Reform Project. She is qualified in Accountancy Bookkeeping, First Line Management, Project Management and ISO Internal Auditing.

Claire believes that excellence is not a destination, it’s a journey that never ends. She has a strong focus on identifying organisational change, staff development, ensuring quality, energy and environmental compliance.

Claire is responsible for strategic analysis, business enhancement, operational change, quality assurance, energy and environmental compliance.

Claire has three young girls who keep her very busy out with work. She has a passion for prosecco and socialising with her friends and family.

– Contracts Manager

Steven Allan

Steven joined the company in 2013 and has over 30 years experience in the industry.
His breadth of knowledge allows him to create and maintain strong relationships with our clients.
Steven enjoys planning and prioritising workload to achieve service delivery and attending monthly contract review meetings.

Outside of work, Stevie enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 girls especially family holidays, music gigs and socialising. He also enjoy many sports, mainly playing golf where he is a member of a local golf club and he is also a keen football fan.

- Technical Manager

Mark Hamilton

Mark has worked for MGB Services since 2010. He started as a Facilities Maintenance Engineer and has developed in his role before being promoted to Technical Manager. He is responsible for providing technical support to on-site Engineers and Clients, where he provides a variety of knowledge regarding technical and quality compliance. He is responsible for ensuring company and client KPI’s and service level agreements are achieved and the client is happy with the delivery of service.
Mark’s knowledge in the Facilities Maintenance trade enables him to look out for service innovations and ways to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
Mark loves his gigs and festivals and is a keen Stones Roses fan.

– Operational Manager

Catherine Higgins

Catherine has been a member of the MGB family since 2016. Customer service is high on her agenda and she has an eye for detail. She is responsible for overseeing operations and ensuring client’s KPI’s and SLA’s are achieved. She comes from an HR administrative background where she worked for North Lanarkshire Council for 12 years. Qualified to HNC level in Business Administration Management. Cathy is a qualified first aider and is married and has two daughters, one son and lots of grandchildren who take up most of her weekend.

- Finance Manager

Ashley McBride

Ashley joined MGB in August 2021 and is responsible for the day- to- day financial operations of the company. Ashley’s duties cover the full spectrum of finance operations, including budgeting and forecasting, preparation of management accounts, cash flow management and auditing. Ashley manages a small team who are responsible for chasing outstanding debt, invoicing, paying bills etc.

Outside of work Ashley has 2 young boys who keep her busy. She also enjoys socialising with friends and working out at her local gym.
